Photography and Video Production play a key role in the development and projection of the University's brand and delivery of its key messages. The photographers and cinematographers within University Communications and Marketing are committed to providing high-quality visuals.
Services
Our no-fee service prioritizes photography and videography for the Chancellor's office, press conferences, board of trustees meetings, commencement ceremonies, and events of significant news value. It also includes visual content for publicity efforts, broad-use print publications (such as marketing brochures and recruitment materials), top-tier web pages, professional headshots of faculty and staff, and special projects directly related to our Imagine2030 strategic plan.

Headshots
Headshots are available by appointment every Thursday/Friday morning from 9 am-12 pm.
Media Portal
Our digital media portal is powered by Canto, serving as a photo library and resource hub for all campus members. Access requests are required, and once approved, users can explore and utilize SIU's extensive collection of images and digital assets.
